General Commercial & Industrial SA has evolved over the last 50 years, but our goals remain the same—to supply reliable products and services to our customers both in Greece and abroad.

  • 1974 - Change of legal form and renaming to General Commercial & Industrial SA
  • 1990 - Listing on the Athens Stock Exchange
  • 1994 - Acquisition of building facilities through the absorption of the company D. Zografos SA
  • 1995 - Acquisition of Biomotor and expansion into the tool trading industry
  • 1999 - Establishment of General Commercial & Industrial Northern Greece SA
  • 1999 - Start of exclusive cooperation for Greece with Avk Group
  • 1999 - Concludes a commercial distribution agreement with Karcher Hellas
  • 2001 - Start of exclusive cooperation for Greece with the company Ksb
  • 2003 - Start of exclusive cooperation for Greece with Viking Group
  • 2006 - New warehouse facilities (6,000 sq.m.) in Aspropyrgos
  • 2007 - New office facilities (1,000 sq.m.) and warehouses (6,600 sq.m.) in Thessaloniki
  • 2010 - Commencement of commercial cooperation with MAKITA Hellas
  • 2010 - Establishment of GEB Green Energy
  • 2012 - GEB Green Energy Interconnection of 600kW PV station in Aspropyrgos
  • 2013 - GEB Green Energy Interconnection of 400kW PV station in Thessaloniki
  • 2018 - Absorption of subsidiaries - General Trade of Northern Greece SA & Geb Green Energy SA
